TRIBUTE and THEME DISPLAYS:

Bette Davis:

Bette Davis had a long and great career in film. This display will tell her storyand show her contribution to American Cinema. Costumes, books, etc.

RHPS:

The most seen, by the most people, for the most years film in history, and still going strong. The Rocky Horror Picture Show launched many careers including Susan Sarandon (Janet), Tim Curry (Dr Frankenforter) and Meatloaf (Eddie). This tribute to this cult classic will include over a hundred items. A recreated scene from the movie will be included.

Tank Girl:

This modern sci-fi cult classic, staring, Lori Petty, Naomi Watts, Ice Tea, and Malcolm McDowell, will be celebrated with a scene, including the Jet fighter and other props, from the 1995 film. Another photo opportunity for museum visitors.

Spiderman:

Spidy has been around for many years, many films, both with people and animated, have been made. This display will include the original comics, the 27 story Gothic building (13.5 feet tall) used in Spiderman 1 and much more. Visitors will get there camera out again.

Titanic:

This timeless story has been told in epic form several times. The museum will include a replica of a Titanis cabin similar to one from the last movie. Many other props and memorabelia will be included. Get your photo here too.

Cinematographers, Pioneers and Inovators:

These men and women cranked the cameras, took notes, traveled the world, it's their story.

Black Cinema:

Thousands of films were made, by and for, black Americans. The Black only theatre circuit andexploitation cinema. MOMPH will include a tribute to Blacks in the movies.

Native American's Contribution to Cinema:

From the earliest Florida films, Seminoles were in the movies both on camera and off.This long history has led to an all Native American award winning film. (Smoke Signals) Manytalented individuals contributed much along the way. This will be their story.

Horror Films:

Horror Films have had a fanatic crowd of followers, since the "Creature From TheBlack Lagoon" (made in Florida). Horror movie plots, props and themes will be explored, along with opportunities to really get into it. 'History to go", here too.

Anime, Animation:

From early magic lantern images, through cartoons to the fantastic 3D creations animated pictures have entertained and amused millions. The installation will include an opportunity for hands on expierience by museum visitors, young and old. The equipment, techniques, and the results will be on display, in an interactive display.
